The FAZ Women’s Super Division is back in action today with two mouth watering encounters involving four of the biggest teams.
Defending Champions Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club will welcome Red Arrows at Nationalist Stadium this morning while ZESCO Ndola Girls entertain Indeni Roses.
Green Buffaloes will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to ten games having won eight of the nine games they have played so far.
Only Indeni Roses have managed to get a point from the former COSAFA Champions so far this season.
Red Arrows on the other hand ended their five match losing streak on Sunday as they edged Luyando Foundation Girls 2-1 at Shamuel Ground in Makeni.
Kabange Mupopo scored a brace to guide Buffaloes to the win but the architect in midfield was Esther Banda who will again this morning be the vital piece of the puzzle.
For Arrows, Susan Banda will again have to put in a shift and a half if they are to get anything out of this match.
A win for Green Buffaloes will see them temporarily go top of the table awaiting the result of the match between Zesco Ndola Girls and Indeni Roses.
At the Cage, Log leaders Indeni Roses welcome ZESCO Ndola Girls in a Ndola derby.
The Zegalicious Girls are coming off a huge 14-0 win over Kabwe Celtic Queens and will be high on confidence as they look to get the bragging rights for the friendly city.
Indeni Roses also recorded an important 4-0 win over Police Dove Queens and will be aiming to get one better than their city rivals this afternoon.
Copper Queens winger Avell Chitundu netted four goals on Sunday and will be looking to add to her tally.
