Green Buffaloes, Indeni Roses and ZANACO Ladies recorded big wins as Red Arrows poor run of form continued with a fifth straight loss.
A second half Maylan Mulenga hat-trick and a Bwalya Namute Chileshe first half strike was enough to hand Green Buffaloes a well deserved 4-0 win over Elite Ladies.
The match was a first of the double header that took place at Sunset Stadium and beamed live on TV3.
In the second game, ZANACO Ladies cruised to a 4-0 win over ZISD.
Majory Luwaya scored a brace while Ruth Mukisi and Tisilile Lungu chipped in with a goal each.
Indeni Roses have reclaimed the top spot following a big five nil win over Kabwe Celtic Queens.
Rhoda Chileshe scored a brace for the Roses with a goal each from Noria Sosala, Natasha Kapombo and Sibongile Banda.
The win means Indeni move to 23 points, one adrift of second placed Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club with Elite Ladies in third place with 21 points while Zanaco Ladies are fourth with 19 points.
Elsewhere, Red Arrows poor run of form continued as they suffered a fifth straight loss, losing 2-0 to Chipata Girls.
