WSL ; Big wins for Green Buffaloes and ZESCO Ndola Girls as ZANACO suffer fourth defeat 

Defending Champions, Green Buffaloes returned to winning ways with a resounding 9-0 win over Nkana. 

ZESCO Ndola Girls continued their amazing start to the season with a 6-0 win away in Livingstone. 

Natasha Nanyangwe gave Green Buffaloes a 2-0 lead within 16 minutes with a quick brace. 

Thanda Mokgabo headed in a third to give the hosts a comfortable lead at halftime. 

In the second half, Natasha Nanyangwe’s cross was turned into the Nkana goal by defender Juliet Ngulube, an unfortunate own goal making it 4-0. 

Substitute Agnes Phiri then powered a low shot into the bottom right corner to make it 5-0 before Esther Banda could add her name to the score sheet. 

Malawian forward Vanessa Chikupila came off the bench to score twice before Phiri grabbed her brace and completed Buffaloes’ demolition of Nkana. 

In Livingstone, Thandiwe Ndhlovu, Avell Chitundu, Fridah Mukoma,  and  Marjory Mulenga scored a goal each for Zegalicious. 

The other goals were scored by Dorothy Daka and  Charity Mubanga.

At Sunset Stadium, Pauline Zulu netted a brace as Elite Ladies edged Nchanga Rangers Queens 3-2. 

Thelma Munkombwe scored the other goal for Elite Ladies while Dona Simaundu and Gracious Tailoshi scored for Nchanga. 

ZANACO Ladies suffered their fourth straight loss of the season losing 2-1 to ZISD. 

Elizabeth Mwale and Eneless Nampamba scored for the Kwapu Kwapu Girls while Mercy Mwenya scored a consolation goal for ZANACO, their first of the season. 

Kamfisa Police Blue Eagles edged Choma Warriors 1-0 thanks to a Tina Magambwa lone strike. 

Action continues today as Luyando Foundation Girls are away to Indeni Roses while YASA Queens host Police Doves.

Nkwazi Queens welcome Green Eagles with Trident Queens facing off with Red Arrows.
