The ZamFoot Crew took time to watch Green Buffaloes Women Football Club’s Training Session at Arakan Grounds ahead of the upcoming 2019 FAZ Provincial Cup Tournament.
Coach Charles Haalubono who took his Lasses through different paces, physical and tactical approach FOR about 3 hours on the field of play declared his side ready for this first-ever Cup Tournament to Kick-Off Off next weekend.
The Go Girls Fight and Conquer were drawn in Group D of the 2019 FAZ Lusaka Women’s Cup Tournament where they will lock horns with Coach Zizwatchi Mseteka’s side Kafue Cranes, Pataaki and also Mapani to fight for a Maiden appearance in the finals.
The ZamFoot Crew spoke to two of the Buffaloes players, Goalkeeper Meddy Meldenzy Namonje and Midfielder Mary Mwakapila who shared their thoughts about their Group going into the tournament.
‘We are very much ready, I think we’ve prepared enough for this tournament’ – Meddy Namonje Speaking.
Namonje further edged her Teammates not to underrate any team especially that they don’t know how prepared they are for the tournament.
‘We shouldn’t underrate any team because we don’t really know how much they’ve prepared for this tournament moreover we’ve never watched them play except Kafue Celtic(Cranes), so we have to start on a higher note’ she added.
Midfielder Mary Mwakapila said the team is ready for its mission.
‘We are on a mission of winning this cup, everyone at Buffaloes works hard because we always put in extra inputs during training and we are ready for it’ – Mary ‘RTSA’ Mwakapila.
