The ZamFoot Crew now takes an in-depth round-up of all the action for Wednesday.

👉 Green Buffaloes WFC 0-0 Indeni Roses

Log leaders Green Buffaloes Women Football Club were held to a disappointing goalless draw by visitors Indeni Roses at Green Square Ground.

Arguably the best game of the day, Buffaloes welcomed the smart roses and both sides had an equal share of opportunities even though Buffaloes had themselves to blame after missing so many chances especially in the first half but Roses goalkeeper Catherine Musonda was amazing and equal to the task and ensured that she keeps the Coach Wisdom Kaira drilled lasses in the game.

Buffaloes still lead the table with 47 points from 19 games played ahead of their next assignment on Monday against Red Arrows while Indeni is in 5th position with 37 points and this weekend they will welcome the Stubborn YASA Queens in Ndola.

👉 National Assembly 0-0 Police Dove Queens

Fresh from a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Nkwazi on Sunday, North-Western Province-based side Police Dove Queens visited National Assembly at the Showgrounds.

However, the spoils were shared as the game ended goalless which was a fair result for the Fearless Dove Queens.

National Assembly will visit Nkwazi Queens on Sunday at Imboela Stadium while Doves will host ZISD in Solwezi.

👉 YASA Queens 2-4 BUSA Queens (Rosemary Nyirongo, Christine Nyirongo | Maweta Chilenga x2, Tisilile Lungu, Elizabeth Lubasha)

YASA Queens hosted BUSA Queens at Barca Sports Complex as a result of Hospice Ground being waterlogged due to a heavy downpour in Lusaka yesterday.

BUSA scored early in the first half through Maweta Chilenga who converted from the penalty spot and added another goal almost at the stroke of halftime to complete her brace with a well-taken free-kick to make it 2-0 to BUSA at the break.

After the break, BUSA started from where they left from in the first half and continued pressing and this time around it was Tisilile Lungu who added a third goal for BUSA before Elizabeth Lubasha added the icing on the cake with a fourth goal to make it 4-0 and seal a well-deserved victory for the coach Kaluba Kangwa drilled lasses.

The Stubborn YASA played the latter part of the second half as the better side and it was the Nyirongo sisters Rosemary and Christine who scored a goal each as consolation for the Coach Tafara Phiri tutored lasses but that was not enough as they succumbed to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of BUSA.

This victory by the Giant Killers in BUSA means they have now picked up 6 points against YASA as they won 4-1 in the reverse fixture played at Mwanakatwe Bauleni Stadium.

BUSA will host ZESCO Ndola Girls this weekend while YASA will travel to the Copperbelt to face Indeni Roses.

👉 Mufulira Wanderers 0-1 Nkwazi Queens (Dorothy Daka)

Mufulira Wanderers hosted Nkwazi Queens at Shinde Stadium and unfortunately, Abena Milambo Ladies lost 1-0 at the hands of High Flying Nkwazi who redeemed themselves after last week’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Police Dove Queens.
