Mufulira Wanderers Women Football Club will know their fate as to whether they will stay in the FAZ Women’s National League come next season or not when they play host to Nkwazi Queens who don’t have anything to play for tomorrow at Shinde Stadium in Mufulira at 15:00hours in their last match of the season.
Mufulira Wanderers and Nkana are tied at 6 points on positions 7 and 8 respectively only separated on goal difference going into tomorrow’s fixtures which are the last games of the season and both teams will be hoping for a positive result.
Nkana on the other hand will take on National Assembly at Nkana Stadium Annex Ground in Kitwe at 10:00hours knowing very well what is at stake in this match.
Nkana will have to play their lungs out as they are looking for nothing but maximum points and will be hoping Mufulira Wanderers stumble against Nkwazi to stand a chance of surving relegation.
Wanderers will place their hopes in Regina Kayamboma who has been their best player this season.
The defense will however have to keep quite the likes of Dorothy Daka and Precious Nsama who are expected to pose a lot of problems for the Mufulira Wanderers Queens back four.
Solwezi Academy Queens who are scheduled to face Zone A winners Green Buffaloes tomorrow in Lusaka have already been confirmed relegated down to provincial league and either Mufulira Wanderers or Nkana will join them after tomorrow’s games.
