Zambia Women’s Under-17 mesmerizing midfielder Cindy Banda was the hero this afternoon scoring 4 goals as Msisi Queens United shockingly thrashed Lusaka Queens 8-2 in a Match Week 2 of the 2020/21 FAZ Women’s League encounter played at a waterlogged Katwishi Grounds in Misisi.
Misisi Queens was coming from a disappointing 6-0 loss at the hands of Green Eagles Women Football Club while Lusaka Queens silenced Red Lions coincidentally with almost a similar scoreline of 6-1 at home.

Lusaka Queens next match will be an away game to Football Chance Foundation Girls who have lost 2-0 this afternoon to Green Eagles Women Football while Misisi Queens will visit Olympia Secondary School Grounds to lock horns with Mapani Queens who have defeated Red Lions Women 2-1 away at Twikatane courtesy of a brace from Sarah Jere.
Elsewhere, National Assembly got back to action with a 3-1 home win against ZISD, the Parliamentarians scored through Tabo Miselo, Dorothy Lungu, and Felistus Phiri to announce their presence in the League having missed out in the match week one game against Pataaki Girls.
At Chibolya Community Grounds, Luyando Foundation Girls were too good for the owners of the Ground Chibolya Sports Academy recording a 3-0 scoreline.
The People’s Favorite team found the back of the net through Teofoga Munene, Catherine Mulenga, and Suzen Evaline Katongo to make it 2 wins out of 2 games.
In Chilanga District, Progress Sports Club suffered a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Pataaki Girls at Mt. Makulu Secondary School Grounds in Linda.
A brace from Blessings Zulu and a goal from Inonge Muyamwa were enough for Pataaki Girls to collect maximum points while Tionge Sambo scored the consolation goal for Progress.
Meanwhile, Kafue Celtic Queens edged King Sports Academy 2-1 in a hard-fought victory played in Kafue at Khosa Stadium.
The home team who have dedicated today’s victory to Tisilile Lungu who lost her mother yesterday should be thankful to their goal poacher Margaret Chilekwa who scored a brace for the Coach Zizwachi Mseteka drilled lasses.
It was a bad day at the office for Twikatane who lost 1-0 to Garden Youth at Olympia Africa Grounds to wrap up today’s action in the Lusaka Province FAZ Women’s League.
