William Njobvu back in Israel

Chipolopolo Boys midfielder William Njobvu has signed for Israel side Beitar Tel Aviv Ramla until the end of the 2014/15 season.

And under-20 defender Kayawe Kapota is also in Israel where he is expected to sign for Hapoel Ra’anana youth side.

The 27 year old midfielder returns to Israel after a spell at Zambian Super Division side Red Arrows last year.

The box to box midfielder enjoyed a successful spell in Israel when he helped unfashionable side Hapoel Shnmona Kiryat to a league title.

He also had a spell in Cyprus.

The former Lusaka Dynamos midfielder came to stardom after starring for Zambia at the World Youth Championship in Canada in 2007.

  1. Well done William I hope it works out for you this time, don’t know why jordi cruyff sold you at your last club in israel

  2. I’m yet to see the best of William Njobvu, but I hope to do so at some point in future. Wish him the best of luck in Israel.

  3. Good for the young man kayawe kapota, I hope he succeeds there and go on to sign for bigger clubs in better leagues, I also heard that Saith Sakala is also in Israel as well, as to whether he’s on trials or has already signed I don’t know but I hope for the best . I’m also hopefull that if our youth teams can do well at the forthcoming tournamens respectively, then more doors will open for them to go abroad, all they need to do is stay focused.

    • The team has been accommodated at the new Hotel Emmasculada in Ebebiyin. So accomodation-wise. We should not worry about that. The team if trained last evening and loosened up according to FAZ facebook.

  4. William Njovu is one player who has never impressed me. I don’t know what others think. He had potential but didn’t live up to it.

  5. Big Steve we don’t want to hear excuses the team has enough time to train and rest. If they arrived yesterday and the game is on Sunday fatigue should not be am excuse. Further, contrary to what people think I suspect this team might surprise a few. Other than kola and felix katongo I don’t think anyone is required. These boys deserve their shot remember this the team that won the cosafa u20 and the afcon 2012. It’s a team of champions. Evans Kangwa, sate sate, musaknaya etc won the 2011 cosafa. Mayuka and co.won afcon 2012. These boys deserve their shot. If they play they know teams in europe will come calling. This team may cause a serious surprise. Jacob is too slow for the national team. He exhibited that against cape Verde and mozambique. We need youth and pace

  6. I agree with john which is very rare indeed lol.lets get behind the boys. Unknown players means element of suprise. We will be successful
