FAZ Copperbelt Provincial Association has announced the final nominees for various categories ahead of today’s awards gala at the Garden Court Hotel in Kitwe.
Among those that will be awarded include coach of the year, player of the year and young player of the year from the 2021/2022 season.
The association will also award top scorers across all the provincial leagues from Division One down to the CAFA league.
In the coach of the year slot, the three trainers that will battle it out for the prize are Evans Mwaba [Chingola Police], Zeddy Saileti [Mutondo Stars] and Evans Sakala [Ndola] United.
In the player of the year category, Felix Lombe [Chingola Police], Assen Mwamba [Luanshya United] and Kalumba Mwila [Ndola United] are all vying to be named the best player of the year.
The other category that makes interesting reading is the young player of the year which will see Samuel Sakala [Chingola Police] battle it out with Osmond Chita [Mutondo Stars] and Moses Mulenga [Young Power Dynamos].
Referee and women’s player of the year will also be named.
The awards will be beamed live on FAZ Copperbelt Provincial Association Facebook page at 18;00hrs.
