New Lusaka Dynamos head coach Wedson ‘Wada Wada’ Nyirenda on Wednesday got down to work with his new team.
The former Zesco United and Zanaco coach penned a short term contract with Elite with an option to extend at the end of the season.
Nyirenda was part of the technical bench at QueensMead training pitch as Lusaka Dynamos played two practice matches with National Division One side, National Assembly. The two matches both ended in draws 3-3 and 0-0.

Nyirenda, a Power Dynamos and Kaizer Chiefs legend returns to the local scene after a spell in South Africa with Baroka who he helped to their first-ever trophy when they beat 10 men Orlando Pirates on post-match penalties to win the 2018 Telkom Knock-out cup, A club he quit in December last year.
In Zambia, his last job was as head coach of the Copper Bullets from January 2017 to May 2018.
During this period, he presided over an impressive 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign that saw Zambia beat Algeria home and away for the first time in over 40 years.
The former Kaizer Chiefs player also took Zambia to the African Nations Championships (CHAN) finals and the COSAFA championships.
