The Copper Queens are unbeaten at the WAfCON with a record of one win and one draw. They started the campaign with a 2 – all draw against hosts Morocco before seeing off Senegal 3 – 2 in the second match.

The DRC are without a win at the tournament having lost their first two games. Their coach is however confident that his side can beat the Copper Queens and bow out with some honour.

“We’re going to properly analyse this match first. And then the Zambia match, there’s not even any need to think. We have to simply win it,” Happy said, “I’m going to re-motivate my players because I think that collectively, we really put in a tactically very interesting match and that’s what should give us the strength to go and win that third match.”

Congo are bottom of the log with zero points, four behind Zambia who are on par with Morocco. Senegal are third with three points.

“We’re really going to put everything in place to win this third match and be in a good position,” he said.

The match has been set for tomorrow at 21:00hrs.
