Power Dynamos head coach Oswald Mutapa is not getting carried away by the team’s current form as they are yet ‘to win anything‘.
Abayellow are unbeaten in their last six games winning five but Mutapa is not letting that get to him as he is focused on the league title.
After seeing off ZANACO, FC MUZA, Green Buffaloes and Atletico Lusaka, next up for Power Dynamos are tricky Kabwe Warriors.
Mutapa has a full house and says the team has prepared adequately for this encounter as they have set their sights on maximum points.
“We have prepared well, of course we anticipate a tough game but all the players are available so we will just push and we want to get the maximum points,” Mutapa said.
“Yes we have been consistent in the last four games where we have gotten positive results but we have not won anything, yes we have won games, but we have not won anything. For us to win something we have to get the results, yes Warriors have shown from week one just there have been in top three which is the case even now but the onus is on us to go out there with a positive attitude, and show the hunger that we really want to be Champions.”
“Not pressure really but these are games you need to win, yes we anticipate a tough match but for me we really need to get the result,” he added.
STACKED SQUAD
Mutapa has a very strong squad available for selection this afternoon with Lawrence Mulenga and Willard Mwanza battling for the number one slot between the sticks.
The industrustrius Fred ‘Kante’ Mulambia who was described as humble and hard working by Salulani Phiri recently is available for selection.
Prince Mumba returns to Kabwe, a place he spent a lot of time at the Magnificent people’s team.
Mumba is now a key player at Power Dynamos and will look to help his new team get one over his former side.
In attack Brian Masanyinga who has been in fine form is available for selection together with former Orlando Pirates forward Austin Muwowo.
Kabwe Warriors also have a number of exciting players in their squad like Francis Banda who could cause Abayellow problems.
Chipolopolo duo of Kabaso Chongo and Kilian Kanguluma at the back are also not an easy customer for any strike force in the league.
Power Dynamos have beaten Kabwe Warriors 14 times since 2006 with Warriors winning ten while six matches have ended in draws.
