The Zambia U-23 national team has Intensified its preparations ahead of the September 4th Egypt 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Congo Brazzaville.
A new inclusion to the Squad, Prosper Chiluya who makes a return after missing the first round against Malawi says the team is ready and that everything is on course for Wednesday’s encounter.
“The team is well prepared and everyone is working hard, am also prepared we are in good shape for the game, its big for me to return to the team in order to highly participate and help out the team to push my fellow players to carry on from the previous match we won against Malawi,” he said.
Chiluya stressed the importance of utilizing the home advantage and Score more goals in the first leg.
“Yes it’s a lot of pressure to play at home meaning its a must-win but as a team we need to focus as we will be on the pitch but its also good to be at home because support is all over you, we want to score as many goals as we can so that as we go to Congo it will be easy,” Chiluya told the ZamFoot Crew.
Zambia will play the first leg at home on September 4th at Heroes Stadium while the return leg will be in Pointe Noire on September 8. The tickets for the September 4 tie are already on sale via Computicket in all Shoprite outlets with VIP pegged at K250, WEST at K100 while the rest of the Stadium is going at K20.
