Kabwe Warriors have moved to the summit of the MTN Super League following a 2-0 win over ZESCO United.
Goals from Francis Banda and Gabriel Banda gave the Magnificent people’s team a well deserved win.
The win is Kabwe Warriors’ fifth in a row and they have impressively kept clean sheets in all five of the games.
The win takes Kabwe Warriors to 28 points, two clear of ZESCO United in second place.
Elsewhere, Nkana returned to winning ways after their four match winning run came to an end losing to ZANACO, 1-0 last weekend.
The Kitwe giants thrashed Green Buffaloes 3-0.
Jacob Ngulube opened the scoring in the 4th minute while Lazarus Kambole doubled the lead with his first Nkana goal.
Mathews Banda sealed the win in the 53rd minute.
Evans Kayombo scored a late equalizer to earn NAPSA Stars a point. Daniel Chitangala put FC MUZA in the lead.
