Lameck Banda has shared his thoughts ahead of Mufulira Wanderers’ upcoming MTN Super League match against Nkwazi FC.
Banda described the league as highly competitive yet exciting, stressing the importance of securing all three points in tomorrow’s fixture. He explained that the team has been preparing thoroughly and taking the necessary precautions ahead of the game.
Addressing player fatigue, the coach revealed that the technical bench has rotated players in several key positions and allowed some members of the squad to rest to avoid burnout.
While the core of the team remains intact, a few changes have been made to bring fresh energy into the lineup.
Banda also provided an update on Paul Tembo, noting that the player is likely to miss the match due to injury but should be available for the following game.
The coach concluded by stating that the team is determined to claim victory and urged supporters to turn up in large numbers to cheer them on. He emphasized that the players draw motivation and energy from the fans’ support.
Mufulira Wanderers will face Nkwazi FC tomorrow at Edwin Imboela Stadium in a Week 25 fixture of the MTN Super League in Lusaka.
