VIDEO 📹; Copper Princesses intensify preps for World Cup qualifiers 

The Copper Princesses are putting in a lot of hard work as they prepare for their FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup second round back to back qualifiers.

The team is currently preparing to face Tanzania in the second round of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers. 

The Carol Kanyemba coached outfit will travel to the East African country for the first leg on March 9 before hosting the Serengeti Girls in Ndola a week later. 

The match is a repeat of the 2024 World Cup qualifiers where Zambia thrashed Tanzania with a commanding 5-1 aggregate victory en-route to sealing their second World Cup spot.

The Copper Princesses are looking to make it to the global showpiece for a second year in a row having qualified to the 2024 edition. 

Mercy Chipasula who recently made her debut for the Copper Queens leads the team that is currently in camp. 

Other notable players include Natasha Nkaka, Nana Malanda, Ruth Mukoma, Taonga Natasha Mubanga and Faith Kaunda.
