Venoms have a feel of the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium turf

Ugandan  πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¬ Champions Vipers had a feel of the turf at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

The Venoms face Power Dynamos on Independence day in the second leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

Power lead 2-1 on aggregate following their away win last weekend.  An own goal and a Moses Shumah goal gave Osward Mutapa’s side a comfortable away win.

Uganda Cranes midfielder Allan Okello is expected to lead the side this afternoon and be the go to person for creativity in the middle of the park.

Okello helped the Venoms to their seventh Uganda Premier League title and a Stanbic Uganda Cup crown as the league top goalscorer with 19 goals (23 goal contributions- 19 goals and 4 assists) hence making him their most valuable player and someone Power Dynamos needs to watch out for.

The winner on aggregate will advance to the lucrative CAF Champions League group stage.
