Chipolopolo Boys Sven Vandenbroeck has named a 29-man locally assembled squad for this week’s camp in Lusaka.
The Belgian trainer has included Green Eagles’ Tapson Kaseba, Spencer Sautu and Ceasor Hakaluba in his squad but there’s no place for leading scorer Anos Tembo.
Tembo has been in impressive form and was arguably the best player in the MTN Super League after he hit a stunning 9 goals.
He was also on target in Green Eagles’ 3-2 come back win over Kitwe United on Saturday taking his to 10 goals in 12 games.
Despite shipping in 7 goals in his last two matches for Zanaci, Toaster Nsabata is still in the squad and is joined by his Zanaco deputy Mangani Banda.
Green Buffaloes duo Jackson Chirwa and Felony Sitonya have been omitted.
The team will camp from Monday to Wednesday in Lusaka.
This is the third camp Vandenbroeck is conducting since his appointment on July 10.
The team is preparing for next month’s Cameroon 2019 African Cup of Nations against Namibia.

After this week’s camp, we shall see the final squad selction from the three weeks camping. Obviously, the coach doesn’t want accusations of bias and poor selection of players.
People will still b!tch and moan about some player or the other…….
he seems to know what his doing…
Good move by the coach. Let him widen the net to get more quality players for Chipolopolo. Zamfoot, what about the youngster Bali Mumba at Sunderland fc in England, is he not our own? Kindly investigate.
This is Cosafa marerial all the boys selected they do not deserve to put on chipolopolo. There is enough talent in diaspora. I would prefer professionals.
I’m really Hoping to see Brian Mwila in the final the man is a marvel to watch. Anyway let’s wait and see how the coach’s selection of the final team will be.
Please fellow Zambians do not criticize or suggest any player selection for now until he picks his final squad.
