Three Zambian abroad were involved in the second legs of the UEFA Champions League playoffs.

Rangers 3-0 Union Saint Gilloise [Agg: 3-2] – Fashion Sakala makes the bench
Scottish side Rangers progressed to the next round thanks to a 3-0 home over Gilloise.
Zambian forward Fashion Sakala has been left in the cold at the Glasgow based but got a sigh of relief after making the bench.
He was unused substitute.
Pyunik 0-2 Red Star Belgrade [Agg: 0-7] – Kings Kangwa impresses in Armenia
Midfield maestro Kings Kangwa impressed for the Serbian side in their 2-0 away win over Pyunik Yerevan in Armenia.
The 23 year old helped Red Star to advance to the next round.

Midtylland 1-3 Benfica [Agg: 2-7] – Chilufya features for 13 mins
Zambian forward Edward ‘Tiger’ Chilufya played the last 13 minutes for Midtylland in their 3-1 home defeat to Portuguese giants Benfica.
Edward Chilufya was a second half substitute in 77th minute and he thought he had scored his first UEFA Champions League goal at the death of the match but the goal was cancelled out by VAR for offside.
They will now compete in the UEFA Europa League pre-group playoffs. Benfica advance to the next round via a 7-2 aggregate.
