The Zambia U20 national team will leave for Dakar Senegal tomorrow February 27th , 2015.
According to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), the team will fly straight to Dakar Senegal where they will set up base for the CAF Junior Championship which will run from 8-22 March 2015.
FAZ has this time managed to jet the national team out to a tournament in time after both the senior team and the U17 national team arrived a day before their open matches.
Zambia play Senegal in a friendly match next week on the 4th of March, which will be the team’s only international preparatory match ahead of the tournament.
Zambia open the campaign with a game against Mali and will also play Ghana and South Africa.
Senegal U20 Tournament:
Group A: Senegal, Nigeria, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire
Group B: Ghana, South Africa, Mali, Zambia
BON VOYAGE Team Zambia. The COSAFA makes sense.look at the statistics.cosafa region sent 2 teams to U17.West Africa sent 6.COSAFA produced one finalist out of 2which is 50% PASS. West Africa produced 1 out of 6 which is about 17% pass.

I concur with you. In addition I have confidence in these boys than the senior team and the under 17. I have a strong feeling the boys will do well at this tournament. It’s a plus to add that Patson Daka to the team; the boy is a gem.

I am personally worried more about our preparations for this tournament just like the under 17 which has just been booted out of the Afcon under 17. We always seem to have very hopes which is never matched with the level of preparations.

that is why the MRI scan is used so what is your point my friends? west africans grow older than their age because of the physical conditions or the type of food,in short,environmental determinism..just compare the vegetation in the west and that of the east to see the difference..look at france,brasil,argentina and co..they are all subjected to any cheat so dont point.if fifa’s scan has verified,then what else?

I wouldn’t be so quick to start counting them chicks before they hatch, I learned a good lesson this week when I was running my mouth on ESPN thinking my clones had sealed the big 12 championship until Baylor came into town and put up a beating on us on Wednesday night..I lost sleep, but with 3 games remaining, I still have hope..that’s just college basketball though, maybe you West Africans are just superior than us in football, but it would be wise to wait until the tourney unfolds before making that statement of a 4 team West African affair. Either way I’ll remember your statement, just hope you don’t get to be humbled. Just a thought!
