U17WWCQs: Cameroon jet in ahead of Friday’s clash

The Zambia U-17 Women’s national team’s opponents for the round three FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier first leg tie, Cameroon have arrived in the Country.

The Baby Lionesses touched down at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in the capital, Lusaka, at 12:30hours.

Kaluba Kangwa and Stephane Ndzana’s team will be playing their first match of the qualifiers after being exempted in the first round and got walkovers in the second round following the decision by Namibia and Eritrea to withdraw respectively.

The Copper Princesses will rely on the prowess of skipper Lubasi Pumulo, strikers Jessy Zulu, Lucy Kajiya and the amazing Blessings Zangose Zulu.

The winner over both legs will face either Burundi or Tanzania in the fourth round.

Tickets for Friday’s match are K20 open wing and K50 VIP, available via Webtickets at Omega Mall in Northmead.
