Zambia under seventeen National football team, coach Chris Kaunda has declared the team ready ahead of tomorrow’s opening match against Guinea in the 11th edition of the Africa Youth Championships in Niamey, Niger.
“We have been ready for some time, remember this team has had so many games and the boys are mentally ready for the task on Sunday,” Kaunda told @fazfootball.com.
And team Captain Patson Daka says the team is not scared of any of its opponents because they believe they have what it takes to record good results against Guinea, Niger and Nigeria.
“For us playing away from home is very okay because most of the games we have had, have been away, so we are equal to the task for the first three assignments,” emphasised the Nchanga Rangers striker.
Zambia will tomorrow begin its campaign with a game against Guinea kicking off at 18:00 hours local time. (19:00 hours Zambian time).
The team this evening trained at the match venue, Kountche stadium for tomorrow’s encounter against Guinea which will kick off at 19 hours Zambian time.
