Napsa Stars will return to action on Friday as the resumption of the MTN/ FAZ Super League reaches its full state with seven games set to take place over the weekend.
The Pensioners will welcome Buildcon at Woodlands Stadium with nothing but maximum points on their mind as they aim to go top with a win and open a two-point lead.
Napsa were however handed a big blow yesterday after 15 players tested positive for the Coronavirus but Head coach Mohammed Fathi says the team will not use that as an excuse as they intend to fight and push for a top-four finish.
“I wish a quick recovery to our players who are infected with COVID-19, our leaders, and our club President Dr. Greg Nsofu, I wish him a quick recovery from his injury,” Fathi told the ZamFoot Crew.
” We are ready for the game tomorrow and we hoping to continue winning as we started before the break. We always have a second plan and we not looking for an excuse but a reason to fight and go to play continental football,” he added.
Napsa Stars and Buildcon have met seven times in the past with two wins apiece and three draws. Buildcon however last beat Napsa Stars on 27th August 2017 at the same venue.
The Kelvin Kaindu tutored outfit was handed a walkover a week ago when Nakambala Leopards failed to travel to Ndola and will be looking to collect maximum points and continue their move towards safety.

Seriously they will be playing with players who tested positive. I don’t get it.
Get it Sibs; they can’t play with infected players but their reserves.
