There are no easy games in football- Ziyo

Sensational Zanaco captain Ziyo Tembo is expecting a tough game when the Bankers host Bolton City in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup despite winning away in the first leg.

Ziyo is also wary of the Islanders execution of free kicks which he wants the Seven-time Zambia Super League Champions to work on before the two teams meet in two weeks time.

” There no easy games in football each and every game is a different game, We have to work on the free kicks, Their execution is good. We just have to work on that, ” he said.

“What is important is that we have an away goal. We are going to utilize the away goal when we go home, What was important was to score away from home,” he added.

The former Saudi Arabia based defender felt the Bankers were wasteful as they converted fewer chances than they converted.

“We worked very hard in the first half and created a lot of chances but we only converted a few. We lacked finishing power, We had more chances than Bolton but all in all it was a good game and the fighting spirit was good,” he said.

” As Zanaco we have quality players each and everyone is equal to the task. In the first half before Roger and Chitiya came out, we had more fighting power upfront, The substitutes did well though they missed a lot of chances,” he added.

Tafadzwa Rusike and Roger Kola scored a goal each to guide Sensational Zanaco to a 2-1 away goal. The Bankers will host Bolton City at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka in the second leg on the weekend of the 27/28 of September 2019.
