Zanaco Football club on Wednesday afternoon was handed a shock 2-0 defeat by Kafue-based Young green Eagles at Nkhosa stadium in a week 24 brought forward affair.
Speaking to the ZamFoot Crew in a post-match interview, Zanaco head coach Chris Kaunda accepted defeat and was quick to mention that his side did not play their game.
“It was a tough game for us we have lost, we couldn’t play we tried to play it was not good for us, generally it was a difficult game for us the pitch was not friendly we couldn’t play a normal game,” He said.
“But this is football anyone can win and anyone can lose, we shall keep focus because they are still many games to come,” He added.
Former sensational ZANACO striker Damiano Kola opened the scores in the 6th minute and completed his brace in the 87th minute to take his side to 12th position with 28 points while ZANACO still maintains the second position with 39 points.
