The Edward Chilufya Christmas tournament will enter the quarter-final stage this weekend with some exciting fixtures. Sweden based
Zambia national team player, Edward Chilufya sponsored the Christmas tournament in his native Kasama.
The exciting fixtures will take place on Sunday, 6th of December 2020 to decide the last four teams.
The tournament is more of a dress rehearsal for the league for most clubs as they await the start of the new 20/21 soccer season for lower league football.
However, The game involving Kasama united/Tazara blue stars vs Mungwi Hotspurs will not take off because Kasama united appealed to the provincial executive committee against the decision by the organizing committee to ban them from the tournament after their abandoned game against Tazara blue stars.
Nevertheless, the soccer fans are expected to come out in large numbers and enjoy their beloved Northern Province football.
