Copper Queens captain Barbra Banda says the onus is now on the players with the technical bench having done its part.
Zambia will start their TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Group C campaign this evening when they face off with Egypt in Rabat, Morocco.
Banda said everyone in camp is focused on the game and determined to start off to a great start.
“The Coaches have done their part and it’s now up to us players to deliver. Our focus is on tomorrow’s (Today) game. We will be taking a game at a time,” Banda said.
Banda is expected to lead the charge alongside Rachel Kundananji.
Hazel Natasha Nali is likely to start between the sticks with Lushomo Mweemba, Mapalo Maluba, Rachel Nachula/ Margaret Belemu and Saliya Mwanza making up the back four.
In Midfield Ireen Lungu and Grace Chanda are expected to pull the strings.
Enelesi Phiri, Mercy Chipasula, the amazing Evarine Susan Katongo, Prisca Chilufya, Kabange Mupopo and Margaret Gondwe are all available for selection.
The match against Egypt will kick off at 19:00 Zambian time at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.
