Tenant ‘evicted’ from Kansanshi

Zambia Super League side, Kansanshi Dynamos have separated with their head coach Tenant Chilumba and his Assistant Happy Sichikolo, the ZamFoot Crew understands.

This comes after the 5-0 humiliation over the weekend at the hands of log leaders Red Arrows at home.

Chilumba was already walking a tight rope prior to the match but the heavy defeat proved to be the last stroll.

Kansanshi Dynamos have been busy in the transfer window bringing in a number of high profile signings including Jesse Jackson Were, Baba Basile and Marvin Jere.

The departure of Chilumba comes barely six months after his appointment as head coach of the Mabanga Boys.

Physical trainer Donwell Yobe is expected to remain and be the interim coach as they look to secure services of a new head coach and assistant.

Prior to his Kansanshi Dynamos job, The former Napsa Stars and Kabwe Warriors head coach was sent on administrative leave by Fole Malembe in May , 2021 after a string of poor results.

Chilumba helped Forest Rangers qualify for the CAF Champions League after finishing second on goal difference to eventual winners Nkana in the 2019/2020 season that ended at week 27 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kansanshi Dynamos are currently 15th on the log with 20 points from 19 games and they have lost all their last three games.
