The MTN/FAZ Super League week 24 came with alot action and full of ups and downs for clubs and players.
The Zamfoot were also on hand to pick their best performers from the ten matches played around the country.
Team of the week
GK- Mangani Banda, The 2017 Zambia U20 AFCON gold medalist was in tip top form and held his own saving more than three one on one shots to keep a clean sheet as Zanaco beat Buildcon by two goals to nil.
LCB-Stephan Kabamba, The Green Buffaloes defender put in a good shift and netted the only goal of the game to secure maximum points for Green Buffaloes.
CB-George Chilufya , The Sensational Zanaco defender was rock solid and made a number of last ditch tackles and clearances.
RCB-Musa Muhammed , On his debut the Kenyan defender was solid for Nkana and gave a good account for himself settling in well in the Kalampa set up.
DMF- Kelvin Kapumbu , One of the Kapumbu brothers, Kelvin has continued his stable performances and he also scored a goal despite being on the losing side.
CM- Gozon Mutale , The former Lumwana Radiants midfielder came from the bench and take charge of the match. He also scored the all important goal that won Power dynamos the match away in Mazabuka.
CM- George Chaloba, The national Assembly man keeps improving week in week out and last weekend was not different as he controlled the midfield.
AMF- Marvin Jere, The Lusaka dynamos youngster put in a decent shift and scored the goal that won Lusaka dynamos a point away in Monze.
LWF- Chisenga Lukwembe , The Red Arrows winger created a number of chances despite his team mates failing to convert them. He was on hand to finish off Joseph Phiri’s cross to earn Honor Janza’s side maximum points away in Kitwe.
RWF- Amit Shamende, The Parliamentarians winger was the difference in Lumwana netting a brace to lead George Kapembwa’s lads to victory.
CF- Anos Tembo – The Green Eagles striker has been a new man this season and continues to impress.
Player of the week : Amit Shamende , His brace was enough to win the player of the week accolade.
Coach of the week : George Kapembwa, The Assembly tactician master minded his team’s win away in Lumwana one of the trickiest places to visit and that alone earns him the coach of the week.
