The Zambia national women’s team has paved themselves a rocky road of qualification to the Congo Brazzaville All Africa games after they went down 4 – 2 at home against Tanzania.
As if to confirm what the coach had mourned in terms of player’s fitness the Zambian ladies led at half time by a goal scored by Misozi Zulu in the 44th minute.
However, Tanzania replied with two quick goals after the restart with Shelder Boniface scoring the second for Tanzania as early as the 59th minute.
Grace Chanda levelled matters for Zambia in the 69th minute to give the Zambian’s some hope.
However, Asharad Rashid added another for Tanzania in the 77th minute with a long range shot before Sophia Mwasikili out the match beyond Zambia in the 89th minute.
Zambia qualified to the their first women’s Africa Cup at the expense of Tanzania last year but are now facing exit from the All Africa Games after the team was reconstituted following a bitter dispute between the players and FAZ.

if they demand their allowances are they going to be dumped too? it makes no sense Ba FAZ
Don’t blame the girls they were just volunteering.
try change the coach too.
What did we expect truth be told. They actually did pretty well for a makeshift team.
Problem is Kalu!! He has no ideas on how to structure female football!! To him being FAZ President is a business position. He wants cuts from players transfer, cuts from corrupt FIFA presidential candidates, and the travel allowances when Zambia goes out for qualifiers. Kalu must go!!
overhyped Nigerians but reconstituited Zambians
lol
cant stop laughing.
Kalu must go!
Well done, girls. Poor admin is the problem here. If they lose the second game, they may not be paid a dime as happened to the Ghana girls last year at the World Cup in Canada.
Where is the first team? The girls just asked for a token amount but the admin saw this as insolence while the fat guys enriched their bellies. Go back to the drawing board & apologize to the original team. Swallow your pride & do the right thing. ZFA.
