Zambia and Tanzania go head to head on Sunday night on match day two of the Group F at the on going CAF 2023 African Cup of Nations.
The Chipolopolo Boys go into the match as bookmakers’ favourites despite a lackluster performance in the 1-1 draw against DR Congo.
There has been suggestions that Zambia coach Avram Grant should make atleast two changes against Tanzania.
Benedict Chepeshi, Lameck Banda and Clatous Chama are some of the names many fans are hoping that they would be given an opportunity against the East Africans.

Chama’s inclusion in the starting line up could be an interesting one as he plies his trade in Tanzania.
Even though he is much raved in Dar es Salem, the 32 year old is yet to start a competitive much since Avram Grant took over in December 2021.

Tactical or sentimental
In 2012, leading up to the quarter final clash against Sudan, the ZamFoot Crew asked then coach Herve Renard if Jonas Sakuwaha was going to start.
“No ways, this is not website football,” the fiery Frenchman said
True to his word Sakuwaha only had a late cameo against Mazda’s Sudanese as Zambia run riot with a 3-0 victory.
It was a big disappointment for Sakuwaha as he was flying high for Al Merriekh in the Sudanese league.
Chama’s situation is similar to Sakuwaha, and it will be interesting to see if Grant will be more sentimental.
Zambia Probable XI: Lawrence Mulenga – Benedict Chepeshi, Frankie Musonda, Stopilla Sunzu, Rodrick Kabwe – Kelvin Kapumbu, Emmanuel Banda, Kings Kangwa, – Lameck Banda, Patson Daka, Fashion Sakala
Chipolopolo kicked off their AFCON campaign with a hard-fought 1-1 draw with DR Congo but were expecting a result from a Tanzanian side without a head coach and who lost their opening clash 3-0 to Morocco. Getting more news and blogs don’t forget to click on link…
