Zambia under-20 National team coach Beston Chambeshi has selected 30 players including Wales-based striker Abdul Ba ahead of next year’s Africa Youth Championship that Zambia will host.
Ba, who campaigns for Welsh side Swansea City Youth team is the only foreign-based player summoned for the youth tournament billed for February 26 to March 12.
Ba’s mother is Zambian while the father is Senegalese.
Team manager Daniel Jere, who released the provisional list in Lusaka, said Chambeshi has recalled Zanaco midfielder Saith Sakala & inform Power Dynamos striker Patson Daka.
Solomon Sakala, Boyd Mkandawire and Patson Daka have been capped at senior level.

This squad has a lot of over age players, When are we just going to have a team with real age?

MRI tests should be done! Patson, Boyd,Saith…are over 20 years old!
MRI testing does not work for U20. This only works for U17 because it is based on the potential for bone growth, which stops happening around age 18 or so.
