Zambian match official Diana Chikotesha is among the three African female match officials that will be at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Chikotesha is one of the top most FIFA officials on the continent.
She has officiated at the African Nations Championship finals, The Men’s Africa Cup of Nations and, of course, the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
She also officiated at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup and the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Copper Queens will also be participating in the tournament making it back to back participation after making their debut at the Tokyo 2020 edition.
Zambia’s Olympic journey kicks off on July 25 against the United States of America in Nice before facing the Matildas three days later at the same venue.
The final group match is against Germany in St Etienne on July 31.
