Herve Renard’s finally led his Lille team to a win after 4 games of failing to collect maximum points when they beat Montpellier 2 – 0.
Renard named Zambian international Stopilla Sunzu in the starting line-up and Chipolopolo strongman did not disappoint as he helped Lille keep a clean sheet in a game Lille dominated.
S. Boufal and D. Sidibe were on target for Lille.
This is the first game Sunzu has completed an entire game as he works his way to sealing a first team position.
He only made the bench when Lille lost 1 – 0 at home to Nantes on Wednesday evening.
The win moves Lille to 11th position on 10 points from nine games.
Sunzu must cement a place in the first 11. Herve Renard has to go into the transfer market and improve his attack in January. He risks being fired at that massive club. He needs to dig deeper into lilles financial resources and strengthen.

If need be Renard must enter the south American market for gifted attackers. He needs to improve on his coaching in an attacking sense as well if he is to survive at lille. I’m sure the board expect a top 5 finish.
