Stellenbosch confirm Sinkala’s departure

South Africa DSTV premiership side, Stellenbosch has confirmed the departure of 2012 AFCON winner, Nathan Sinkala.

The Stellies took to their official social media platform to confirm the the development ending a two year stint at the club.

The Club has wished Sinkala a prosperous future ahead and thanked him for his service to the club.

Sinkala played 55 games at Stellenbosch scoring five goals and setting up one.

Before joining Stellenbosch played for TP Mazembe, a club he joined back in 2012 and had loan spells at Sochaux in France and Swiss side Grasshoppers between 2014 and 2015 before returning to Lubumbashi.

Sinkala, 31, won the CAF Champions League in 2015, CAF Cups (2016 and 2017) as well as 4 DR Congo Vodacom league titles in 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2019 with the Ravens.

It is not clear where Sinkala is heading next. A return to Green Buffaloes can not be ruled out.
