Football administrator Oliver Sepiso Shalala writes
FAZ is busy talking about raising funds for the women’s national team.
They should also mention to sponsors the Women’s National League.
Clubs producing these players are struggling.
Let’s not put focus on the national team only. Players are trained and produced at club level. Does FAZ know what these national team earn at club leave and how they earn their living?
What annoys me is the habit by officials to never watch National Women Super League games but when it’s going to State House we see the same officials taking all credit.
The whole FAZ executive and all senior staff were at State House to.
There was no space for Under 17 players because FAZ officials went.
For what guys?
You don’t watch our girls week in week out. Do you even know where Kings Academy vs Chibolya occured today? But people talking about women’s football kwati muwamya.
Anyway, some of us are UPND people and we shall tell the first lady the true.
Justice for our players please. They need attention every week not just camping them at hotels then they go back to the compounds when it’s all said and done.
P.S. Shalala Oliver Sepiso is the founder, secretary and currently sponsor of Lusaka Dynamos Ladies FC. This is the club where the player – Xiomala Mapepa – who scored the goal that took Zambia to the Women’s African Cup of Nations plays.
