South Sudan defender Peter Manyang finally made his debut for Zesco United on Saturday against Nkwazi.
The 27 year old centre back who signed for the Ndola side in August had to bid his time for his debut and it finally came against Dennis Makinka’s struggling Nkwazi.
The 1.98m centre back was paired with Zambia Under-20 winning captain Solomon Sakala.
Zesco United went on to win the match courtesy of a Crawford Mwaba own goal.

Good with aarial balls and good at attacking in corners and set pieces, but for marking and one on one situation he was below I will give him – 6/10

He looks very promising from the time of Chalwe kabamba , Kunda mushota and we had Matias Emmanuel , David owino odiahmbo no defender has imprest me except for left back and right back.
I don’t have a problem now the two centre backs am impressed with Solomon Sakala he is fitting well am sure he is going to gain much more experience playing with the Sudanese defender Peter thank you so much coach for giving him chance to play
The clean sheet against Nkwazi was Zesco United’s 6th of the campaign.
The 8 times Zambian Champions have conceded only 12 goals in 14 league matches.
