A group of ardent soccer fans of Lusaka West has come together to form a football club called, Matanga United Football Club the ZamFoot Crew can reveal.
The Club Executives who comprise various local league supporters took up the initiative as they want to tap and promote talent which is very abundant in the youngsters of Garden House, Kalundu, and West Wood area.
The newly formed side went on to win a 4-Team Independence Tournament held at their home ground Sunrise Stadium on 24th October.
Club Secretary Adriel Chandalala confirmed in an exclusive interview with the ZamFoot Crew that the team will compete in the Lusaka amateur league.
“The team is set to compete in the Super Amateur League under the Lusaka Football Association. the players are eager to see the club grow and make a difference for their lives and the community,” he said.
