Six Crocs sign professional contracts with Locomotive Tbilisi

Kafue Celtic has confirmed that six of the seven players who had remained behind in Georgia for further assessment have signed professional contracts. 

The former Super League side took to social media to confirm the development. 

Seven Crocs remained in Georgia on the request of Locomotive Tbilisi following their European friendly match tour thanks to their MOU with Locomotive Tbilisi on the sidelines of the Euro U21 Championship.

“We are delighted to announce that six of our talented players currently in Georgia have successfully signed professional contracts with FC Locomotive Tbilisi. This is a great opportunity for these players to take their careers to the next level and show the world the talent Zambia has to offer. 

We wish them all the best and look forward to seeing how they progress!”

Kafue Celtic proprietor and Club Director Lee Kawanu has urged the six players to work hard. 

“I wish to encourage the 6 players to work really hard and use this great opportunity to propel their professional careers into some of the top European leagues. They are not only ambassadors of the Crocs family but all Zambian players and therefore have to show all the positive attributes and talent our country has to offer the world,” he said. 

The seven player who had remained in Georgia are Vincent Kalinda, Boniphanseo Phiri, Floyd Chileshe, Frank Chileshe, Agripa Mwila, Darton Bwalya and Twiza Mulenga.
