DR Congo giants TP Mazembe has confirmed that Zambian midfielder Nathan Sinkala will leave the club after eight years in Lubumbashi.
Sinkala joined Mazembe in 2012 and has been with the Ravens since them but had two loan spells in France and Switzerland with Sochaux and Grasshopper respectively.
The Club confirmed the development on its website as monitored by the ZamFoot Crew.
“At the end of his contract, Nathan SINKALA will not have his lease renewed. At the club since 2012, the Zambian midfielder was – for a moment – transferred to FC Sochaux in France then loaned to the Swiss of the Zurich Grasshoppers between 2014 and 2015 before returning to Lubumbashi.”
The 29-year-old has won seven titles with the Ravens including the 2015 CAF Champions League. Sinkala also won two CAF Cups (2016 and 2017) as well as 4 DR Congo Vodacom titles in 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2019.
“The TPM wishes Nathan SINKALA a great success for the rest of his career and will have fond memories of the Zambian midfielder.”
The ZamFoot Crew understands that the 2012 AFCON winner is headed to South Africa to join PSL outfit Stellenbosch and is expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
