Zambian forward Justin Shonga scored an acrobatic bicycle kick for Sekhukhune United against Stellenbosch FC on Saturday afternoon in a 1-1 draw.
The 25-year-old scored a goal of the season contender from the edge of the box with an amazing strike off a Rodrick Kabwe assist.
It was a made in Zambia [Zed], and executed in South Africa [Mzansi] goal.
Shonga’s stunning effort is his second goal in Sekhukhune United colours since he joined the club in Janaury.
Prior to his first goal for the club in February against Baroka, Shonga had gone 455 days without a league goal.
Shonga’s club mate and country man, goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata missed the match as he is still in Zambia attending to a family bereavement.
Zambian legend Nathan Sinkala did not make the match day for Stellenbosch. Sinkala is set to leave the club at the end of the season.
Elsewhere in South Africa, Gampani Lungu came off the bench to play the last 8 minutes in Supersport United’s 3-2 away defeat to Golden Arrows.
Friday Samu and Musonda Mwape had a off-day following the postponement of Maritzburg United’s home tie against Moroka Swallows.
