Zambian striker Justin Shonga has started life in Georgia on a very good note helping his new club FC Gagra to a 3-2 international friendly win.
Shonga netted a brace for Gagra who cruised to a win over FC Gareji who compete in the Erovnuli Liga 2, the second tier of Georgian football league.
Shonga joined the Georgian top-flight club Football earlier this week from MTN Super League side Nkwazi.
The two time Georgian Cup winners have competed in Europe before, UEFA Europa League in the 2011/2012 season and UEFA Conference League in the 2021/2022 season.
Shonga was involved in 17 goals last season, scoring 10 goals and assisting 7 in 20 appearances for the Zambia Police sponsored outfit.
Shonga has scored 16 goals for the Zambia National Team in 33 appearances.
