UNDER-23 national team striker Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba is fit for Sunday’s All-Africa Games final round first leg against Nigeria despite the Egyptian league being on recess.
Kampamba, who plays for Egyptian outfit Wadi Degla, joined the squad on Monday.
In an interview at Lusaka’s National Heroes Stadium yesterday, Kampamba declared his readiness to face the West Africans in a penultimate clash set for Abuja.
“Yes, the league is on suspension but that has not affected us [players] much because we play friendlies against Division One teams every week. I honestly feel good.
“I am not under pressure. I have looked after myself. I am ready and looking forward to the game,” Kampamba said.
He believes the Fighton Simukonda-tutored squad has the quality and depth to secure a slot at the Congo Brazzaville games.
“I am confident we can pull a surprise in Nigeria. I really believe that. We have exciting young players. It’s going to be difficult. Nigeria is a strong team. We just have to believe in ourselves,” he said.
Nigeria thumped Gabon 6-1 on aggregate to set up a clash against Zambia, whose opponents Madagascar withdrew due to financial constraints.
Tunisian referee Said Mohamed Kordi will officiate the match.
Zambia leaves for Nigeria on Wednesday.

Nigeria will roast this zambians alive. Wait and see. None Naija useless goat where u dey?
Zambia is a failed nation when it comes to football. Just sayin…..
Noni Naija useless goat, how far?
talk on the pitch.I am not sure of his fitness levels.I am afraid to even watch this one, there have been many bitter defeats of late. All the best though, one thing I have come to note is we good at qualifying..Lol!
Said Mohamed Kordi is the one who officiated between Zambia and Ghana in Ndola when that ape called Derrick Boateng broke a ZNBC expensive camera.
We wanted to see the whole squad, why hiding?
Any way 9ja 1st son, NONI (Nigerias Only Natural Idiot) will be here soon and say “I will walk naked for 2 weeks if Zambia beat Nigeria”.
HEHEHEHE. WILL POST YOUR COMNMENT ON THE WATTSAPP GROUP NONI IS PART OF. KEKEKEK
Zambia’s natural idiot is referring to someone as an idiot? What a world we live in!!
Cool chop for our U23 boys…. We will surely run over ZAMBIA just like my d**k running over MUMBI’s mom pussy….. NIGERIA 6-0 ZAMBIA…. Watch the space…. MUMBI anything below this scoreline will see me fuck your mom with a walking stick….. Bloody satanyoko
zamfoot. please ban this demon possessed nigerian from this site
Have u been banned from other sites u visit with similar stupid comments? Why ban Naija? You can’t have it both ways
As for you PAPADINHO you Ghanaian orogan monkey am leaving our U20 boys to you…. We are gonna stay up a national mourning in ghana this evening. NIGERIA 4-0 GAYNA……
I was told while growing up that if you put a ghanaian and a dark goat in darkness, that you can identify the black goat first before the ghanaian… hahahaha black apes
And what colour of apes are u? He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not is a fool.
Honour,Hector,Fighton
Names of Zambian Coaches
Hector was a honourable fightor of ancient Troy who led an army unit to numerous battle victories……
Can same be said of these reincarnates who find themselves in losing battles across Africa?
Ba Kalu,in your next appointment,we need coaches with names like Confucious,Timida,Fearoo,Losely to man our technical bench for various national teams…..hahahaaaa
If big names could bring victory, like……….
Noni naija..the least said about Nigeria, the better. ..think about how to solve your problems in your den of evil doers u call a country.
I think the current FAZ has to go!
Ba Pastor long time ! Good to read your comments here!
Nigeria 1-0 Ghana……..HT
Good game from both sides. More to come from the flying eagles in second half.
Zambia U-23 vs Nigeria U-23……..
Another easy win for Nigeria Dream team. Zambia unlucky to meet Nigeria again.
Don’t ever take these zambian teams serious there just jokers and a disgrace…
Caf should ban Nigeria from playing at home like they have done to Guinea & Liberia. Thats the lions den. What could happen if Boko Haram attack our players? Caf is useless!!!
Penalty to Boko haram u-20.
Goal!!!!!!!!! 2-0
Game or politics? Keep to one lane, else we will all flare up.
Mumbi, your references to Boko Haram are not necessary. Thousands of people have died at the hands of these terrorists and you honestly think you can joke about it. Talk football otherwise just stop, because your contributions are absolutely filled with ignorance.
Hahahahaha……. This mumbi dude is a goat.
Ban Nigeria from playing at home for what. So caf should ban nigeria bcos of a game against a loser team Zambia. Guy your insanity is in another level.
Black magicians 0-2 B haram. end of the game.
Not a single match won by a country (name withheld). That country also conceded the most goals. What a record in the 8 nation tournament . I am not sure the trophy would have counted if that country had won the tournament (impossible) since there are only 8 nations. I even wonder why they took part. After beating Mauritania, LESOTHO, Mozambique, Mauritius to qualify, they were hammered by Mali, Ghana & South Africa. Boy oh boy…..WHAT IS THE NAME OF THAT COUNTRY? Formerly Southern RHODESIA
Ban them bcoz of Boko Haram. Thats not a peaceful country. Its dangerous to play there.
A country infested with guerilla warfare talking about Boko haram? See the profile picture of paradox to remind you of your history.
Game over….. Nigeria 2-0 Ghana.
Another 2-0 victory for us against ghana. I remember that ghanians here were given shady excuses when we defeated them 2-0 in a friendly match 3 weeks ago. You guys still chop another 2-0 after beefing your team up with your so called foreign stars.
You guys are lucky our foreign players are not in this tournament. Watch as they perform wonders in New zealand.
This Naija squad is good . Will brighten the face of Africa in NEW ZEALAND if the admin does not screw up. Should monitor these kids with the “Eagles” eyes.
I pity zambia. We will roast you both home and away.
NOTE: Our Under 23 doesnt score less than 2 goals in a match.
Hope you guys are ready to be roasted.. ahahahahahaha..
Where are my ghanian brothers? Can’t believe you guys ran away from zamfoot bcos of the pain the flying eagles inflicted on your boys.
Where is Gaddafi na ooo?.. The Manu garba has defeated your team again, same way he defeated the 2 years ago in u-17 and 3 weeks ago in Ghana.
Manu Garba has beaten Coach Tetteh twice.
Congrats Naija, you have the last laugh…..
I really our zambian friends. Nigeria is winning the your team home and away. Even if we play the 2 matches in Zambia, Nigeria will still defeat your team in both legs.
coach Manu Garba, 3 consecutive finals……Caf U-17 final, U-17 world cup final, now AYC final….
Respect to you coach.. Next U-20 world cup final.
Future Super Eagle’s coach..go go go go go go coach, Nigerians are behind you SIR.
Personally I thank Naija 4 chasing the black wizards from this site…I bet their hiding in some hole licking their wounds.
i pity u for now coming out to make hay becos weve been beating by our senior brothers. we accept our defeat in gud faith not with flimsy and childish excuses like u did against us when we defeated u pepo ,which has set massive confusion in uor country with some calling for kalushas head,y do u always want to hide uor tail between uor legs only for someone to pull it out for u,arnt u ashamed?Atleast we have a chance to showcase our socccer again to the outer world with this generation,so we cool and heads high.
Don you are right man.
Not a single comment from the ghanians.
No excuses like u.
@badosqi,congrats meeennnnnn, uve shown u r seniors this time around but our legendary rivalry still lives on and is one thats unparrelled in Africa, atleast u can lift the cup in style, cos history reminds us that most countries that defeat Ghana in knockout stages go on to win the ultimate so congrats in advance ,but carefull not to dent this record though.
U won’t win this throphy 9ja u’ll see how Mali I’ll beat u
The loud mouth and arrogant Ghanaians have disappeared into the pit latrine the came from. I have a few sober and humble Ghana men however most are arrogant and have run away after being embarrassed by Nigeria.
hahahahaha!!!!!! one bush man has managed to craw out of the cave.
hahahahahahahahahaha ! Ba Mumbi mwantekunya kikikikikikikikiki
You of southern RHODESIA calling someone a bush man? Hehehehehehe….are u in any way in touch with your history?I may have to give u a history lesson to be passed on to your offspring. Half baked literates are a major cause of concern to Africa
The only country with a football team having a name “forest” (Rangers ) . How far are u from the bush? Can’t disentangle yourself from the bush. The bush in your bones, psyche .
Please grow up sir. A man coming from a league that has teams named Dwarfs and Babes should really reconsider opening this can of worms.
Sarcastically, it implies we should not call each other names especially if we consider our backgrounds . Why would that Mumbi call someone “bush”? So if u are a grown up, u would rather understand ( read between the lines).
Who lives in caves? Even dwarfs don’t live in caves ax purported by your countryman. More reason we need enlightened persons to express opinions but hey, freedom of speech. More reason we nurse & nurture dictators
Please grow up sir. A man coming from a league that has teams named Dwarfs and Babes should really reconsider opening this can of worms
@ Kwarcee …haha,go to ghanasuckernuts and see for yourself if your countrymen are taking this defeat kindly.
@tasila,are these the comments that has compelled u say we r mourning at Ghanasoccernet?

We should all accept the defeat and also accept the fact that this team is not good.A lot of the guys lack quality and should be replaced otherwise forget about the world cup.

Nigeria won today bcos they were lucky but efficient….had Ghana taken even half de chances they created,de scoreline wud ve bn 4-2 in our favour …Anyway, profligacy is always punished in soccer…if u dnt convert de chances u create,u tend to lose…u can only win if ur opponent is equally wasteful as u…n also fail to take their chances…Its all good…we must try to win de 3rd place play off so dat we can join Argentina,Austria and Panama in group B at de U20 worldcup…if we lose, then we get to join a difficult grp C,including Portugal,Colombia and Qatar….Coach Tetteh must reinforce this squad with two potent strikers, and goalkeepers cos our keepers are terrible…

Nigeria was just better. The team needs a European or North American raised striker who has a better finishing rate. The dribbling is good on this team but the final shots are always off.

Compare and contrast these comments to uors on this very site when we deafeated u,then let bloggers decipher who the great lamenters were, losing to Nigeria is better and respectable than sudan and SA.
Look at sugar merrying at sheabutter cos the sun is shinning forgeting that it will rain tommorow.TEAM WEST-AFRICA REPRESENTING!!!!!
U are great Kwarcee. Refuting the allegations with facts from ghanasoccernet. Bravo. Africa lacks leaders who are willing to lay the bare facts in the open. You are a leader .
Nigeria under 20 has never defeated Ghana 20 in a competitive game…Never….I hope am wrong
OFF TOPIC: FAZ player dealings affected under-20 yesterday’s post,a highly placed source who was in Senegal revealed that FAZ official took scouts to the under-20 camp and allowed them to talk to players against the rules. The source said the same thing happened when the Under-17 to Niger they performed badly due to the issue of putting business ahead of football.Could it be that the Mexican guy whom FAZ attached to senior national team and again attached him to under-17 the highly placed source revealed about? Back to the topic, lack of seriousness in preparations is killing our soccer, ba Zamfoot please assist me a armchair critic to show me pictures for under-23 in the gym if at all they do have that opportunity. Ba FAZ bamambala why have you become def on our cries to organize serious friendly matches before going to the tournament. Coming to players in as much as I have over hyped Sate Sate this boy is far much better than Mayuka, if Zambia qualifies to this Tournament Sate Sate will score in this tournament mark my words. On Musakanya and Mukuka Mulenga, Mukuka is a paper weight he need to be in the gym for 3 months,so sad that he Musakanya is injured but the boy need to hype is game, he has no vision when with the ball.
We will not allow the FAZ DICTATOR KALUSHA BWALYA to take our football for ransom. Enough is enough!
ZamFoot, give us all the names of players in the squad.
I don’t see this team qualifying to the ALL Africa games! They will be eaten alive by the young super Eagles! ALL thanks to the DISGRACED FAZ DICTATOR KALUSHA BWALYA!
Badosqi Respec to the Nigerian lads for being the better team of the day….i duff my hats of to your boys for being able to withstand our onslaught of attacks….i humbly consider this current U20 of Nigeria far…I mean FAR superior to ma satellite team… I’m hoping for another run against your team though…..in the WC….kudos
I agree with Kay hummer something has to change. We are tired of our team going to games and tournaments with poor preparation. The management at faz should go now. When is Kalusha’s term ending? I think he has passed his useful life. Not once has he advertised the national team job.
Mumbi the Mumu…I see u have been left to fool for quiet sometime now so u are doing just that…..drmonic minded individual…how can a team that….wait in fact your whole country can’t even make it out of group stage but u wanna laugh at a WC going team…..
Papadinho you are a He-goat together with your Naigia friends on this blog. Ghanians you also He-goats!
Zambian Soccer
May Get Life
President
FAZ
president Kalusha Bwalya’s supporters are set to move a
motion that will virtually install the body’s leader as
president and bar anyone who has never served in any
FAZ executive committee from contesting the position.
The development comes as a follow up by some of
Bwalya’s supporters to make him life president. FAZ is
set to hold elections next year March but the 2015
annual general meeting sets the tone for campaigns.
According to a circular released by FAZ Secretary
General George Kasengele, Nchanga Rangers and
Afrisports are proposing that anyone contesting the
position of President must have served in that capacity
or at least as Vice-President or Treasurer.
The current FAZ constitution states that to qualify for
the position of FAZ president, a candidate must have
served at any club affiliated to the association for a
period not less than five years.
Kasengele’s circular dated March 16, 2015 obtained by
bolazambia highlights three proposals. The Northern
Province Amateur Association has submitted a proposal
to restructure the lower league but details are not
provided.
Rangers, whose member Richard Kazala, serves on the
FAZ executive committee have proposed; “For a
councilor to stand as a President of the Football
Association of Zambia, he/she must have served in the
FAZ executive as an executive member.”
Further, Rangers have proposed that anyone wishing to
contest for any FAZ position must pay a nomination fee
depending on the position they are eying. Rangers want
candidates contesting the Presidency to folk out K25,
000, Vice-President K20, 000, Treasurer K15, 000 and
Committee Member K10, 000.
Afrisports, the Kitwe club at which Kalusha is director,
has submitted a similar proposal. The proposal is not
different from the Confederations of African Football
(CAF) proposal that barred anyone not to have served on
the executive from challenging Issa Hayatou who has
been leading the continental body since 1988.
The Afrisports proposal reads; “One of the qualifications
for one to stand as FAZ president, one must have served
in the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) either as an
executive committee member, treasurer or vice President
before.”
In September 2012, Kalusha supported a controversial
law that virtually made Hayatou CAF president and a
similar law is what his executive is expected to
rubberstamp on March 28.
The executive committee of CAF voted to make
amendments to the rules for presidential elections which
will saw only executive committee members as eligible
candidates.
With the new rule, Ivorian FIFA executive member
Jacques Anuoma -who had earlier launched a campaign
to oust incumbent CAF president Issa Hayatou- has
been disqualified. Also, South Africa 2010 Local
Organising Committee chief, Danny Jordaan who is
rumoured to have interest in the CAF seat cannot
contest
This decision led to widespread criticism from across
the continent but Bwalya insists the right thing was
done.
Speaking to the BBC, the Zambian FA boss said, “The
decision was carried out by majority of the voting
congress and as such cannot be said to be dictatorial.
You cannot allow outsiders to come in. you need people
who are already in the system.”
Responding to accusations of corruption in CAF Bwalya
added: “If the organisation is as corrupt as people are
making out to be, then you will not have the likes of me
in it.”
After claiming he was free of corrupt practices, Kalusha
was later named in the now infamous US $80, 000 Yali
ninkongole (it was a debt) bribe scandal involving Qatari
magnet Mohammed Bin Hamman.
kalu aint going anywhere
F-15 thanks for the infor, so Nchanga rangers is full of maggots like the one you have mentioned. Zamfoot what is your take? No wonder plangas like Bonwell Mwape where close to the national team up until fans cried louder. Kalu only time will tell
Sate-Sate shall do damage to this He-goat team!
MUMBI. Please stop being ridiculous in your comments. Referring to people as Boko Haram and apes is just not acceptable. Well done to Nigeria and Ghana has nothing to be worried or ashamed of, they will be at the world cup and we won’t. Though some peace and quiet is nice mwe.
u r just unmatched interms of matured comments, doff off my hat positive………….
You Sir, are the voice of reason in an otherwise ignorant and dreary comments section. Stay classy.
Papadinho you are a He-goat together with your Naija friends on this blog. Ghanians you are also He-goats!
If what F-15 has reviewed will be true come 28th March ! I will never support Zambia soccer until Kalu dies or resign, instead I will switch to fully support Chess or motorsport period, I don’t want to develop BP its not part of me
please update on boko haramo vs black Satanist match
Congrats our fellow West Africans.Naija with won fairly but we hope you do same at the world cup. Ghana will surely be among the last four at the world cup. And for this i dont need anybody to come from the sky to attest to that. The records are there to show. Ghana was qualified to the u20 World cup only 6 times and on all occassions qualified to the semi final so this one will not be an exception
SCOOOOORESSSSS U20 –MALI -1 SENEGAL -1 ON THE 4TH MINUTES
Positive Thinking, sorry for my outbursts.
We made forests in Zambia for our economic development unlike natural deserts where some teams have been named naturaly as desert foxes.
