Sate-Sate and Donashano join Nkana technical bench 

Ronald ‘Sate-Sate’ Kampamba aka Landlord and Donashano Malama have joined the Nkana technical bench as third assistant coach and physical Trainer respectively. 

The duo were long time members of the Nkana squad contributing massively to the team’s success especially in the 2010’s. 

The Landlord first joined Nkana in 2007 and stayed at the Kitwe giants’ side for eight (8) continuous years before making a move to the Egyptian side Wadi Degla in 2015 and also had a short stint at Belgian side, Lierse S.K. 

Kampamba returned to Nkana at the end of the 2016 soccer season.

Kampamba was part of the team that won;  1. League Title- 2013 and 2019/20  2. ABSA Cup (Barclays)- 2018 3. Charity Shield- 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2020    At a personal level while at Nkana, Kampamba’s achievements include; 1. Zambian League Top Scorer- 2012–2013, 2013–2014 2. Footballer of the Year – 2014 3. Youth Player of the Year 2013.

Meanwhile Donashano Malama returned to Nkana last year, five years after leaving the club. 

In January 2018, Malama signed with Botola club Olympique Khouribga following the expiry of his contract at Nkana, before joining Chippa United F.C in January 2019.

He returned to Zambia to Join ZESCO United in 2020. 

Dennis Makinka and Josphat Nkhoma are first and second assistants to Ian Bakala while Mike Poto remains goalkeeper coach.

  1. What licensing courses CAF or FIFA have Malama and Kampamba done? What new technical knowledge are they bringing to the team apart from that which gained through experience? Not much. Come on train them first, send them to youth teams and after meaningful performance then bring to the big team Nkana.
