Switzerland-based FC Zürich winger Joseph Sabobo Banda has become the latest addition to the Zambia U20 national team camp ahead of the TotalEnergies U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which kicks off this weekend.
Sabobo touched down at Cairo International Airport at approximately 15h45 and is expected to take part in the team’s evening training session today.
Zambia has been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Egypt, Sierra Leone, South Africa and Tanzania in a tournament set to run from April 27 to May 18.
The Boyd Mulwanda-led side will begin their AFCON campaign on April 27, when they face Sierra Leone in their group opener.
