Zambia Under-17 skipper Joseph Sabobo Banda scored a goal in each half to lead the young guns to a comfortable 2-0 win over hosts Lesotho in their opening match of the 2021 Region V Games.
Sabobo slotted home in the 29th minute to put Zambia in the lead after missing a flurry of chances.
Sabobo again struck in the 71st minute from inside the box after some good work from Frank Chileshe who came from the bench to replace Marcel Zimba.
It was a comfortable win and Sabobo was voted player of the match.
The Young Chipolopolo’s next game will be against Eswatini on Saturday at 15:30hours.
