Sensational Zanaco midfielder Tafadzwa Rusike who sustained an ankle injury on Sunday in Equatorial Guinea against Cano Sports Academy at Estadio de Malabo Stadium is back on his feet and was part of Wednesday’s training session for the Bankers.

The 30-year-old Zimbabwean Midfielder was stretched off in the 54th minute and his place taken up by Kiala Lassa as the Bankers recorded an excellent 3-1 win away from home.

Rusike has been an integral part of Sensational Zanaco from the time he joined the club and has enjoyed a great run in the MTN/FAZ Super League.

Mususu had a knock on his left knee while Nakena had a muscle pull but they have both recovered and were part of the whole team’s training session according to a report on the club’s official website monitored by the ZamFoot Crew.

Zanaco will on Sunday November 3, host Cano Sport Academy in the 2nd leg of the return match of the 2019/20 CAF Confederations Cup Pre-group stage at Lusaka’s National Heroes Stadium with the Bankers carrying a 3-1 advantage going into this tie and look poised to make it to the group stage of this second fiddle of the CAF Champions League.
