Zambia Under -20 national team striker Ricky Banda currently on the books of Indeni Football Club on loan from Jumulo FC is relishing the chance to make his Super League debut and scoring important goals.
The lanky Striker was also quick to point out that senior players he is fighting for a place with at Indeni always encourage him.
“As a young player I want to play more and enjoy scoring important goals, I fight for a place with experienced players who also encourage me to push more and make my dreams come to reality,” he said.
Banda is aware of the pressure that lies ahead but he is confident his hard work and determination will make him a reliable asset for Coach Dabid Chilufya.
“I understand the pressure ahead especially with the caliber of experience the other guys have, it won’t be easy but am positive my hard work and determination will make me a reliable striker for a team,” Ricky Banda told the ZamFoot Crew.
For now, the Super League should be ready for me as am coming with a lot of goals for it.
“Everyone wants to be reliable and am working extremely hard towards that and have to represent my country when national duty comes up,” he added.

Indeni will be playing in the Super League in the 2020/2021 season after spending several years in the lower leagues and will surely need the goals from Ricky Banda, Heritier Nkonko, Graven Chitalu, and the like to maintain their top tier status.
