Jose Mourinho eyes double Leicester City transfer swoop as ‘next few hours’ claim made
Latest Leicester City transfer news as Patson Daka and Kelechi Iheanacho are both linked to Italian giants Roma in the summer transfer window
Roma are interested in signing Leicester City strikers Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka, according to a report in Italy.
The duo have reportedly been the subject of interest from Roma for two years, and City’s relegation to the Championship means the Italian club could make a double transfer swoop.
That’s according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, who say the strikers have been “circled in red” by Roma as priorities in the summer transfer window. Officials from the Italian club have already flown to England as they eye a deal for West Ham forward Gianluca Scamacca.
But with Roma baulking at the terms, their attentions could now turn to Iheanacho and Daka as they look to strike a double deal. It is said that they could get obtain from Leicester about their stance in the “next few hours”.
Daka scored four Premier League goals last season, assisting the same number as City finished 18th in the top flight. Iheanacho scored five and assisted another five.
Turkish clubs Besiktas and Galatasaray have been linked to Iheanacho in recent days, with Everton and Nottingham Forest also mentioned.

The lure of one of Europe’s ‘top five’ leagues combined with European football could prove too strong for the strikers. What is for sure is that Leicester will stand firm in any potential negotiations for the two centre-forwards this summer.
If they were to depart, it would, potential signings aside, leave Jamie Vardy as the only senior striker at the club. Manager Enzo Maresca has already confirmed that the veteran will be staying put at King Power Stadium.

They should both leave especially Daka. Roma is a huge upgrade plus European football is guaranteed.
It can be a good move for Daka to be under morinho
It will be a good move for daka indeed
I love these guys. They hosted me for a huge piss-up when they came to Sydney. I have a huge problem with alcohol and drugs and they tried to help me but I bought so muck coke, we just slammed the lot.
Gimme a call and we’ll get on it but it’s your shout coz I am broke as hell: [email protected]
Faz here again – sorry, I meant smack. Coke is too expensive. They cut the smack here with corn flour so it gets a bit gummy and hard to get up the needle.
Indeed it Will be a good move for our Zambian striker. Wishing you all the best in this my boy Daka
make that deal happen it will be a huge success and development for daka morinioh is the best coach
