Former Chipolopolo Boys coach George ‘Chicken’ Lwandamina is believed to have joined Nchanga Rangers as the new head coach according to media reports.
Lwandamina will replace Robert Tembo who was recently sent on administrative leave with his technical bench following a string of poor results.
The former ZESCO United coach is reportedly joined by Boyd Mulwanda, Israel Mwanza as first and second assistants with Yona Phiri as goalkeeper coach.
The 61 year old is ZESCO United’s most successful coach thus far, winning four league titles during his two stints at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
The former YANGA SC boss won the league title in 2014 and 2015 after joining ZESCO United from Red Arrows in February 2014, adding back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018 in his second spell.
Nchanga are winless in their last eight games losing four games and drawing the other four.
